In honor of Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour, AWSN offers an annual award to recognize significant contributions made by a volunteer to the AWSN community.

AWSN offers an annual award to recognize significant contributions made towards the mentoring of women of all ages. This award is made to one outstanding mentor of any gender.

$3000 Scholarship

AWSN offers an annual $3000 scholarship to a third year or later post-secondary student.

WinSTEM Week 2020

WinSTEM Week 2020 will approach quickly after summer is over!  This weeklong celebration begins with Ada Lovelace Day (Oct. 13) and carries through the whole week with STEM organizations big and small celebrating their own events.  Events can be as big or small as reading a book, meeting for coffee or having a guest speaker.

We are putting the final touches on the WinSTEM Week events website - so stay tuned to add your event!

Vacant AWSN Executive Position

AWSN is seeking a candidate for Co-President to join the Board of Directors in fall 2020. The Co-President will succeed the current President and work cooperatively with the President to become familiar with AWSN and aid in board leadership. For more information, contact president@awsn.org.
