Share your experience on board participation as a woman

Researchers Dr. Rachael Pettigrew and Chantel Cabaj, through Mount Royal University and DirectHer Network, have partnered to study women’s experiences and perceived barriers in seeking board positions. The purpose of this research is to amplify women’s voices in the discussion of board representation and understand their board experiences, perspectives, and goals and perceived barriers. Completing this survey will also support DirectHer’s planning, future direction, and program offerings.

Funding Opportunities

The Calgary Foundation offers Every Woman Can: The Maria Eriksen Memorial Bursary to an immigrant woman in Alberta attending school to return to her pre-immigration field of work. There are 5 awards of $2000, deadline to apply is June 15th. Visit their website for more information and to apply.
