Natasha Bugg, 2021 AWSN Scholarship Recipient

Natasha Bugg is a Metis student in the Bachelor of General Science program at the University of Alberta. She is currently in her third year studying biology and psychology. Throughout her educational career, her academic dedication and enthusiastic community
involvement was recognized when she received the Iskotew-Acahkos Bursary in 2019. In the summer of 2021 she took a position as a research intern for an environmental engineering project and discovered an interest in environmental research. She plans to utilize her education to help address environmental issues within her community.
