Work Re-engagement Program
The Work Re-engagement Program was initiated in March 2015 after AWSN secured a Status of Women Canada Grant. The program concentrated on supporting female STEM professionals with career gaps (2+ years) and worked with Alberta STEM companies that wanted to enhance their Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) policies by including this often overlooked demographic. The grant was part of Status of Women Canada's 2015 theme to improve women's economic prosperity.
